I had the pleasure of having Bill McQuade as a Math teacher and baseball coach for the three years I attended The Hun School. And I have to admit that Bill probably had the biggest impact on me at Hun, not only as a student and athlete, but as a person. His enthusiasm in the classroom and on the field was contagious, and you couldn't help but find yourself wanting to do your best. Many years later as an assistant girls softball coach for my daughters, I found myself incorporating some of the exact same drills I learned on the baseball diamond and in the classroom, and with the same results! The smiles and giggles from the softball team members were priceless. I hope I was able to motivate the girls to enjoy the game and do their best, the same way I was motivated. And for this, I will be eternally grateful. Bill, enjoy your retirement! Best of luck!
